WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT DECEMBER?

​Do you feel the chill of December?  Do you feel the warmth of gift giving to loved ones and friends, sharing holiday time together.  Streets and homes are lit with dazzling lights and adorned with festive decorations. December is a month of celebration around the world, with holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, and the Winter Solstice—each with its own traditions and festive vocabulary. From cheerful greetings and cozy decorations to seasonal foods and expressions.  Awe, yes, the warmth, color, and joy of the holidays. Did you know??? 
  • December is universally recognized as the prime month for home decoration around the globe. This tradition is largely linked with the holiday festivities of Christmas and Hanukkah, which involve decking homes with lights, ornaments, and themed decor. 
  •  Google was formally incorporated as a company on September 4, 1998.
  • Pepsi was first served in December 1891.
  • The first Nobel Prizes were awarded on 10 December 1901

  • We invite you to The Tea Nook, where you will find a casual, relaxing atmosphere and vibe where you can enjoy baked items, specialty tea beverages (including hot and iced tea, boba/bubble tea, iced coffee, hot coffee).    Our Seasonal Bubble Tea and Latte's are back in season along with new specialty beverages and winter flavored tea blends.   Creme Brulee is back and can be prepared as a bubble tea, hot tea, iced tea and latte.   Our new addition is  a place where you can enjoy down time, sit and relax on our comfy sofa with your favorite tea and book, snack on your favorite scone and sweet or just chat with your bestie.  There's even a little book nook where you can peruse our gently read books, which are also available for purchase at a discounted price, while enjoying your favorite tea beverage and baked item.  We love art and have several murals painted by local artists.  We have a beautiful butterfly mural where you can take selfies and post them to your favorite social media platform. ​
  • We are continuing to add new fun things for you to enjoy.  We are excited to be collaborating with local small businesses in the area and will be offering their products in our shop.  Our recent additions are The Novel Bakery, The Chesapeake Tea Co., and The Etsy & Company.   You will find their gems throughout our tea shop.  We will be hosting live video's introducing these businesses on social media and what they offer, their inspirations and more.
